The Hotel Morado Story

In Spanish Morado is the word for a rich shade of purple, a hue reminiscent of the deep colour of a ripe plum in summer. Evoking calm, luxury and simplicity, we chose this name as a tribute to the Spanish way of enjoying life.

Opening in 2024, Hotel Morado is co-owned by Fraser Valley locals who believe sharing the culture and natural beauty of the area is a gift. They knew that a unique boutique hotel in District 1881 would be the perfect welcome and jumping off point for adventurous and curious visitors discovering Chilliwack.

Local interior design company Bloom and Build created the four signature looks of our rooms to capture the essence of the old world approach to taking it slow, experiencing with intention, and finding beauty in the small things around us, enhanced by our natural surroundings and the rich culture of the area.

Check-in was convenient using the instructions that were sent by email to open the front door and pick up the key from the drop box.
