A Few Things to Keep In Mind

Instructions will be sent to you via email 2 days prior to arrival. Use your code, and let yourself in.

The Check-In time is 3:00pm (PST)
The Check-Out time is 11:00am (PST)

Adjusted check-in/out times cannot be guaranteed. We do not offer luggage storage prior to or after your stay.

Pets

While we all love our furry friends, we unfortunately do not allow pets on-site or in the rooms at any time. 

Parking

One hotel parking stall is included with each room reservation. At this time we cannot guarantee additional parking.

Register your license plate number when providing personal details pertaining to your stay (government ID, etc.) or, if unable to do so at the time, send your license plate directly to us via email (respond to any email we’ve sent you), the direct messaging platform online, or by phone. 

Bicycles & Motor Bikes  

Bikes cannot be stored on-site or brought inside the property. There are bike racks available in the immediate surrounding area (own lock required) if you are not able to mount/lock to your vehicle. The racks are not monitored, and guests are responsible for any lost/stolen/damaged items.

Personal Property

Rooms will only be accessed by staff as requested/required during your stay, with efforts to contact guests (via phone and/or email) made prior to doing so. Hotel Morado is not liable for the personal property/belongings of guests. 

Keys  

Building fob keys are to be returned, as received, to the lockbox prior to check-out time. Missing/damaged keys will result in a $150 replacement fee, charged to the card on file. 

Visitors 

Only registered guests are permitted on-site at Hotel Morado, and the legal occupancy of each room must be adhered to at all times. 

No gatherings (parties, meetings, etc.) are to be held onsite unless approved and coordinated with hotel management. We recommend booking The Grand Hall across the street for events.

Use of Space 

Hotel Morado provides temporary accommodation rentals; use of the space for any purpose other than this is not permitted without prior written approval from property management. 

No cooking or open flames permitted onsite.

Communication 

We recommend phone communication for timely matters.

Phone, email, or direct messages can be used to communicate general matters.

Lost & Found 

Personal items left behind will be held for 30 days after departure, after which they will be donated if the guest has not made any attempted contact. 

Contact directly (via email/phone) to arrange pick-up or paid mail service.

Cancellations & Refunds 

Terms vary based on the chosen rate and agreed-upon terms at the time of booking. Refer to your confirmation email for details. 

Building Access 

  • Only key holders, those with access codes, and property staff are permitted on-site 
  • Keep access ways/common spaces clear at all times 
  • Ensure all doors are securely closed/locked behind you while on-site  

Emergency Procedures 

  • Emergency procedures and property maps are posted in all rooms and common areas – refer to them in the event of a fire, earthquake, or evacuation
  • In the event of a personal emergency, contact 9-1-1 before contacting the property at (604) 997-3213
  • Additional third-party security services are provided by District 1881 and the surrounding Downtown Chilliwack area and can be contacted at:

Power Outages 

  • In the event of a power outage, all electronic doors will remain functional
  • Property staff will contact all guests via email and/or phone to make necessary arrangements in the event of a sustained outage (2 hours+)

Guest safety (report suspicious activity) 

  • Report any unsafe or suspicious activity to property staff via phone and/or email

Streaming services (guest’s responsibility to log out) 

  • It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that any digital accounts used while on-site (i.e., streaming services accessed through SmartTVs) are logged out prior to departure

This is a locally owned and operated shared space for all to enjoy. Please maintain a basic level of respect for the property, staff and other guests during your stay. Our self check-in/out system means you likely won’t see us, but we ask that you are polite when communicating with our staff if you need to reach out. 

We also appreciate courtesy to the other guests. For noise, quiet time is between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.

Cleanliness & Waste

Maintain a reasonable level of cleanliness throughout your stay. The property upholds responsible waste sorting and mitigation practices. 

Damaged, Missing & Stolen Items

Let us know if anything isn’t working, and please be gentle with amenities. The Rooms and Common Areas are stocked and inspected prior to each arrival. The guest card on file will be charged accordingly for any damaged, missing/stolen items.

You’re welcome to take the complimentary items in your room home (like coffee and shampoo). We ask that any books borrowed stay in the common but, if you would like to buy your own copy, head to The Book Man in District 1881, where we source all our books.

No illegal/illicit activities permitted, in accordance with local, provincial, and federal laws. 

Vaping/Smoking

  • Prohibited inside and within 10 metres of all doorways 
  • Ashtrays located by mailboxes behind Hugo’s Mexican Restaurant
  • 10 metres away from all building entry points

Identity Verification

  • Government Issued ID required for all bookers/primary guests, to be uploaded to the guest profile online or confirmed over the phone with a hotel representative

Age Requirements

  • Minimum age of booker/primary guest: 19 (adult)
  • No children left unattended on the premises
