A: We recommend that you confirm applicable terms when selecting a rate during booking, as there are several options with variable terms.

  • Standard Rates: there is a 50% deposit due upon booking. Remainder due 14 days prior to arrival. All payments deemed fully earned upon receipt, non-refundable. Reservations may be adjusted with at least 3 days notice, subject to availability.
  • Freedom Rates: Our most flexible payment and cancellation policy offered, no deposit required, free cancellation until 2 days prior to arrival, at which point the full balance will be charged.
  • Partner Rates: Customized based on nature and frequency of travel

A: ​​The best rates are always available through our website (not third-parties). Government flat rates are available for provincial and federal members, multi-day discounts automatically apply when booking as applicable.

A: Unfortunately, we are not able to welcome pets of any kind at Hotel Morado.

A: Yes, we have an accessible room tailored to guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids. Visit Our Rooms for details, or contact us if you have specific requirements to see if we can accommodate them.

A: Housekeeping is only available to guests that stay with us for an extended period of time (8+ days).

A: The rooms do not have kitchenettes or dining rooms, but do come with a hot beverage station for coffee and tea. Our rooms are made for explorers and minimalists with a keen eye, and we’ve got everything you need for a local experience steps from the hotel.

A: Most rooms sleep 2 people comfortably on a single queen-sized bed. The Double Room is best suited to accommodate up to 4 people with an additional adjoining bedroom, but guests are welcome to bring a cot to accommodate children in a standard room at their own discretion. The Rosita Room is not recommended for more than 2 people.

A: It’s an approximately 1.5 hour drive along the Trans-Canada Highway to District 1881 from Downtown Vancouver.

There are some issues with Apple Maps, we recommend using Google Maps for directions.

A: You can check in any time after 3pm—we would never give your room away!

A: Yes there are EV chargers available in District 1881, the closest are next to the hotel parking stalls. The cost is not included with your parking spot.

A: The front entrance to the Hotel is on the pedestrian laneway (not the road).

A: Yes. The safest and recommended option is to secure your bike to your vehicle. We recommend locking it securely as the racks are not monitored and guests are responsible for any lost/stolen/damaged items.

Bikes can also be locked at the public bike stand by the front entry. We do not allow bikes to be stored inside the hotel.

A: Uber is available in Chilliwack, as well as taxi services.

A: Every room includes a queen-size bed and a three-quarter bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower). In addition, you’ll find:

  • Towels, bedding
  • Complimentary coffee and tea
  • Beverage cooler
  • Central air conditioning/heat
  • Smart TV
  • Free Wi-Fi

A: Yes! We can accommodate a range of custom add-ons with notice. To add extra items to your room, please contact us.

A: There is no restaurant or breakfast room in the hotel, but we’ve got so many great options in District 1881 and just beyond, so you won’t need to go far to find great food, coffee and drinks! Take a look at our recommendations.

Guests at the Morado get a special discount at several of the businesses in District 1881.

A: The hotel does not have a gym.

For office activities, there are work stations in every room except the Rosita Room (the smallest Rosa Room). There are no work areas or office amenities available outside of the rooms.

For groups with full hotel blocks, Signature welcome experiences can be coordinated in the foyer by request. For gatherings and events, we recommend booking The Grand Hall across the street.
